Michele Tenzon

Michele Tenzon is an architectural and urban historian.

His research sits at the intersection of landscape history, planning culture, and the built legacies of economic transformation. His recent work has focused on two main areas of inquiry: the contribution of architects and planners to the transformation of rural landscapes and the evolving relationship between town and countryside in the Mediterranean, and the spatial and architectural legacies of extractive economies in the Congo, examining the impact of the palm oil and mining industries on landscapes, infrastructures, and settlement patterns.
