Landscape Chair
In order to develop research in the medium of landscape the faculty of Architecture La Cambre Horta has created the Landscape Chair in 2018. Directed by Dr Thierry Kandjee who is a practionner, a researcher and a senior lecturer, the orientations of the Landscape Chair are focused on landscape creation & innovation.
The landscape Chair aims to pursue the following research tracks
- Track 1: Landscape production & criticality This axe is concerned with building on the legacy of landscape architectural education & profession, which has been at the forefront within the Faculty of Architecture La Cambre in the 30’s.
-Track 2: How practitioners practice? The landscape chair engages as an actor to stimulate the emergence of landscape practice-based research in Europe and beyond,
-Track 3: Future landscapes How future landscape will respond, adapt, anticipate societal and environmental changes?
