Simon De Muynck
Simon De Muynck holds a Master's degree in Environmental Science and Management (ULB-IGEAT). He has been a visiting professor at several universities and colleges, an assistant and researcher at ULB, and a member of the Brussels Environment Council. He is the coordinator of the Urban Ecology Centre. He oversees the association's three main areas of focus. His work has included soil remediation, urban agriculture and fruit growing, water and biowaste management in Brussels, and the circular urban metabolism. For several years, he has focused his research on Brussels' adaptation to climate change and environmental inequalities through participatory action research. He is also a research associate at ULB-LoUIsE.
